Hi! My name is
I’m a Product & Creative Designer with
a couple of other talents…
I’ve always been a “creative first” type of person and during my 10 years of work experience I’ve developed a wide range of strategical abilities and great allies that have helped me develop as a designer.
Every project I’ve participated in, has shaped my perspective into a creative and dynamic force, focused on results and offering all kinds of solutions- all while having fun and making every part of the process enjoyable for my team, my clients and myself.

Responsible of Accounts Department, client follow-up + development while also taking a creative role in projects.
Outstanding Archievements:

Creative and conceptual design for POP Materials for clients such as P&G, Coca-Cola, Nestle, Sanofi, J&J and PepsiCo.
Oustanding archievements:
Conceptual Designer:
InPlant Designer for Sanofi:
Structural Designer:
Design and manufacturing of stainless steel products and prototypes.
Sure, I can do graphic design.
Me- before working in a design agency with top notch graphic designers.
The next projects are focused on the user’s experience and the professional skills I developed in Santo Niño as a crucial part of my development.
Understanding one’s needs and wants can be tricky.
Understanding a client’s needs and wants, is in a whole other league; being able to REALLY listen and guide a project with all it’s moving parts was one of my favorite tasks.
The process of briefing, brainstorming and sketching is and will be one of the most interesting parts of the design process for me.
Weeding out the weak proposals, polishing the selected concepts and finally presenting to the client an amazing product, is what I woke up in the morning for.
This helped me develop the necessary communication skills to deliver objective-based briefs to the creative team, choose the strongest candidates according to the client’s requirements and delivering successful presentations.
Nobody likes to be sold anything, even when needed.
So how could I get a warm approach to possible clients in a saturated market, where cold calling and emailing are not working? By getting close and personal.
One of the most successful strategies I implemented, while basic in theory was awesome in results.
The project titled “the booklet” is a handmade mini book which described our design process, the studio’s philosophy and ethos, while being fun and interactive to the reader.
2 out of 5 letters sent, got us a meeting with decision makers, or marketing executives.
One of the most important clients I managed to score was Walmart, and our mission was to develop infographics, video tutorials and training manuals for its workforce.
As time went by, the client became more demanding of creative proposals, innovation and disruptive ideas -all within a limited timeframe and resources; by mixing and matching different internal and external assets we became the “go to reference” for other vendors.
Quick problem solving, team management, research and key negotiations were part of my day to day tasks, while keeping an eye in the project details in order to make sure the operation kept on going as smoothly as possible.
Since I've had a sense of being, the act of creation has been one of my main drives
Me- trying to sound all cool, wise & stuff.
Starting in June 2020 I’ve started to design and build products, from client’s ideas to sketches, who after a couple (hundred of) clicks grow into 3d models, blueprints & hours of sanding later- real products.
Realizing how my home office has evolved into a full fledged workshop has been one of my proudest achievements so far.
Classics exist for a reason, trying my take on a tried-and-tested product is something I’ve always wanted, the simplicity of this design and it’s versatility is the main focus.
Imagine yourself sharing a small center table with several people… a bit crowded and far isn’t it? Now imagine having your own table, suddenly those chips feel and are completely yours- and not only Gary’s.
Getting home after a hard day of ________ (insert real or generic excuse for not staying at home during a pandemic) is one of the biggest reliefs.
Having a space & place where to leave your shoes, keys, jacket and umbrella (that’s what the empty space at the left is for!) or even just sit and relax are some of the objectives this product accomplishes, the last objective?
Looking cool and custom made AF.
As a plant lover, I was delighted when I got this assignment.
-“Yo Lol, i want a little bench for my plants- can you make one for me”
-“Of course Emma, lets make an incredible place for your little buds to hang out in style, you know what? Lets make it with Oak so it can stand the test of time and look really classy, I bet your girls will love it.”
-“Cool”.
-“Cool”.
So far, the plants have grown quite happy, and the bench has been applauded for its strength and tasteful design.
There are moments in a designer’s life where a challenge so delightful comes, and just then no matter the odds of success- you just have to accept it.
Take a wood slab and make a table out of it- how hard can it be, right?Hours-of-intense-research hard, hours-of-routing-and-level-checking hard.
Every single day of sanding, polishing, cutting, applying epoxy and finishing were a 100% worth it, after getting to know the end product: a 1 x 1.5 meters table with a panache that only the 1% (of woodworkers) get to enjoy. Or at least, that’s what I told myself, after setting a reminder to take better pictures next time we cross paths.
Tikka3 is a headlamp designed for people who are quite active and adventurous, and the goal for this packaging was to showcase the product and its benefits while being able to stand out among its competitors.
Mission accomplished.
We are in a desperate need for sustainable products who can be built by anyone with recycled or reused materials without looking like those DIY 5 minute crafts (I’m talking to you, used-tire patio chairs).
I designed this chair by finding local and universally found materiales who were destined to be disposed- thick cardboard tubes and aluminium bars (well, this ones i actually bought them) the final product is quite sturdy and customizable- add some fabric, maybe a cushion and you’ve got a new throne for lil’ Mrs. Whiskers.
I’m not an accomplished musician, but if I was one with a limited budget, I’d like to change the style of my guitar according to the set list I was to play.
What started as a big “what if”, turned out to be quite a fun little experiment- how to make a portable electric guitar than can be customizable according to the user’s needs and tastes.
Making use of rapid prototyping and some spray paint the end result was quite successful, a 100% funcional and small electric guitar for musicians with limited space but ever changing tastes.
Since clocks and watches were invented, humanity has been puzzled with a weird but consistent phenomenon.
Take a glance at the time, just to be forgotten within seconds…
So, in order to give a real solution for a real problem I designed this clock. By being having its number suspended in a 3d space it is harder to appreciate the time, forcing you to make an effort and really focus to get it right, also while looking really really in cool in your living room, office or restroom. I won’t judge your product placement.
One of my future goals is to experiment with new materials and technologies, but also learning from/with engineers, designers and creatives.
Working with different perspectives and challenges is the new black.
Sometimes, we've got to try different media to see what we really are made out of...
Me- being humble.
Not every project can be fun and games, when the moment comes to deal with crucial social issues, vulnerable groups or the well being of others, I only give my very best for those in need.
This eLearning, being developed for the OAS (Organization of American States) is a collaboration with online security experts, instructional designers, animators and graphic designers with one goal in mind:
“Help vulnerable women who are stalked, harassed, and victimized with the use of the internet by (mostly) men, to develop skills that will help them prevent, stop and denounce acts of cyber violence against them.”
My role in this project focuses on programming, content advisor and team manager.
As luck might have it, since 2009 I’ve been developing web pages with different technologies, since the early days when flash was cool, to my go to platform of today, WordPress.
For most of these websites I’m responsible for the development and advisor for the UX/UI, while my partner-in-design is in charge of the graphics.
10 million billion desings per week? Sure thing boss!
Me- not bragging at all.
This last part of my porfolio will highlight my favorite projects within the 7 years of experience I developed as a conceptual designer, where time was of the essence and design proposals had to be delivered in a weekly basis.
Love them or hate them, either way the are a fixture of modern supermarkets.
(Super fast) Sketching, (light speed) 3d modeling, prototype development, structural design and an eye for detail were some of the main abilities which were necessary to keep up with demand.
Developing my abilities was rewarded in the long run: between 2014 and 2017, 4 of my designs were awarded OMA’s by POPAI (imagine the “Oscars” but for Exhibitors, quite the honor if you ask me).
So, thanks for your time and hopefully this made you think about how some of my experience can be useful for your day to day operations.
